"Last year saw the Hotel play host to a wonderful engagement party - a surprise for the lady - attended by guests from four continents. The couple arrived by helicopter and she was delighted to be greeted by all their friends. A welcome drink in the gardens was followed by an amazing dinner out on the terrace, with the moon above the sea as a dream-like backdrop.
Next day, everyone took a boat trip to the beautiful island of Capri. Back to the hotel that evening, guests were given Caruso aprons, and together with the chef, prepared pasta dishes of their choice in the open-air kitchen - which they then enjoyed at tables set out by the infinity pool. The party continued in the Wagner Room, where a tango orchestra played and the couple took the floor.
The following day, the guests departed by boat, while the couple remained for one more romantic night, enjoying a candlelit dinner on their private terrace, with a violinist playing."
