Tommaso Mansi, Head Barman at Hotel Caruso, was born on the Amalfi coast and uses the region’s renowned citrus flavours to spectacular effect.
He learnt to master the art of shaking in various experiences as bartender in Italy, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. A member of the International Bartenders Association for more than 15 years, he has taken part in many international cocktail competitions.
Since the opening of the Hotel Caruso in 2005, Tommaso has been the life and soul of its bar, heading up a team of enthusiastic staff.
His great creativity and flair have led to the introduction of many successful drinks, such as the Caruso Martini, inspired by the famous lemons that grow in and around Ravello.
